Pre-K
Kiwanis Day Care Center collaborates with the Cabell County Schools to offer a Pre K program. Our program operates five days per week from 8 am until 1 pm and follows the Cabell County Schools Calendar.
Our Pre K Program is designed to teach children the life and academic skills they need to succeed in elementary school and design. Our Pre-K classes are divided into age-appropriate groups that allow children to relate to others their age. Our program is based on a fun, supportive and safe environment where kids can learn and develop at their own pace.
We divide children into the following age groups:
- Infant
- Toddler
- Pre-K
Elementary School Program
In addition to our program for younger children (before elementary school), Kiwanis Day Care Center also offers an after-school program and summer camp for elementary-aged children. Our School age program is open to all children ages 5 to 12.
In addition to fun, age-appropriate activities, we also provide homework help and other informal programs during the school year. During the summer, children learn about themselves and their community through field trips and other hands-on experiences.
