a toddler with paint on both hands

With Father’s Day almost here, help your children surprise their dad with a unique keepsake. Presents don’t have to be expensive or complicated to show Dad he is appreciated.

“Best Dad” Card – Fold construction paper into a card. Paint your toddler’s palm with washable paint and press it onto the front of the card. Write “Hands Down The Best Dad across the top and have your child decorate it with crayons or stickers.

“Handprint Fish” – Paint washable paint onto your child’s palm and press it onto a piece of card stock. Use crayons and googly eyes to create a fish. Let your child add stickers and other decorations.

Fingerprint Heart – Using thick paper, let your child use his/her fingerprints to create a heart shape for Dad.

These are just a few simple ideas to create a masterpiece Dad will cherish forever!  Use your and your child’s Imagination. Be sure to share your projects on our Facebook page!
